Hi Mark
Thanks for checking us out.

iTunes has always been a struggle, it's never worked right and they won't talk to us to fix it. I don't think it's possible with iTunes alone.

To download them all I would use a Firefox plugin called... download them all.
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/201
But you may need to manually tag the mp3s and could still be a lot of clicking.

Hope it works for you.

Hey guys,
Just a quick note from an ol' dog on your great podcast.

I just found you guys, thanks to the podcasters roundtable.

You "youngins" start talking about new bands and I'm lost, but I really dig your gear reviews and studio tips and tricks.
(barring the ProTools jitter...)[grin]

Question -
How do I tell iTunes to download ALL of your past episodes?

There are too many good episodes I missed, but see no way other than sit in front of my PC to get caught up...
...that ain't gonna' work - I drive for a sales job and need to take the podcasts on the road with me.

Thanks and keep up the good work.
MG

p.s.
I have to agree on the one comment you read on the air about the difference in your voice mixes - but unlike the other commentor (tormentor?) I think that maybe you ALL need the proximity effect!

Leo LaPorte is forever asking his guests to get right up on the mic -and it's immediately for the better.

Some of the comments during your Home Recording Show "round table" conversations drop out with all the background noise out on the road...
Like the lazy consumer who doesn't want to have to adjust his iPod or stereo volume,(...can you say "loudness wars"?)I'd like to see the different mic volumes get evened out a tad.

But what do I know - my hearing is shot from those 20+ years of rock gigs and front-row seats with no earplugs in the big arenas watching the pros tear it up - at arena-loud volumes...!!

Peace.

Again, great content guys. NY/parallel compression I always use! It is very effective- great topic. Jon's "Crush Bus" cracks me up- we were trying to determine if he coined that phrase or heard it elsewhere....

Mics I could talk about all day- in fact I am giving a mic workshop tonight :)

How about the topic of side-chaining/ducking? It's a bit more advanced. though......
