    I’m a new listener and I enjoy your show.

    Concerning do it yourself mic preamps, you should take a look at Hamptone. I’ve built the HVTP2 tube mic preamp and I am absolutely thrilled. It sounds great on everything I’ve tried with it and makes a killer DI for bass.

    I can also vouch for the Seventh Circle pres. I’ve got N72, C84, and A12 modules and love ‘em all.
