Two things I was expecting hear in the discussion about starting up a recording business were:
1) How to determine what your rates should be
2) How to handle payments to make sure you get paid for your work.
Might be an interesting follow-up discussion.

I know i know, old show is old but i think that y’all could do some good follow up to the things discussed in the ‘home studio to a business’ segment. I’m especially wanting to hear from jon since this show marked his initial dive into the deep end.
what were some of the biggest hurdles you faced?
are you making any money? how long did it take to start turning a profit?
