  2. Hey guys, there was a question regarding the use of VCC couple of episodes ago. Do you use VTM on a regular basis? Tape emulation plugins tend to quite CPU intensive, so just curious how you use it.

      A tweet I got from Slate indicates that the newest update (and not just the new 64 bit aax format) has reduced the CPU hit to 1/8!!!!

      I don’t know if that is all the time on all systems and mixes, but sounds pretty neat nonetheless.

      Just keep it mainly to the busses rather than individual tracks. Maybe on the snare too
